The attack on a police bus in Srinagar that claimed the lives of three cops was pre-planned as the armed police team was returning to camp at same time it usually did after performing routine duties, a senior police official said on Tuesday.

The terrorist attack on the residence of a BJP leader in Nowgam area on Thursday that killed the leader s police guard was carried out by four Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists, a senior police officer said, asserting the attackers would be killed soon.
Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar said two of the four have been identified, and they are from Srinagar city.
