Consulate have been injured from an attack on their vehicle in the far western part of afghanistan, near the iranian border. Its not clear what happened. There are reports it vehicle was shot at with a rocket propelled grenade. The two americans are said to be suffering life threatening injuries. In the meantime, a u. S. Warship carrying marines is on the way to libya. The state department advised americans to leave that country, immediately, due to an unpredictable security situation. The ship is a precautionary move. Libya is pushed to the brink of chaos or more chaos. All this as president obama is set to deliver an address about u. S.
