A NON-PROFIT organisation is putting on an event looking into food production and security. The Digging Deeper into Local Food Zoom event, hosted by Seeding our Future, will look at solutions to these problems within the food and farming in relation to Bridport. The meeting will feature an over UK’s current food security, Kathy Dare of Bridport Local Food Group will explain the group s plans for 2021 and Robert Golden will speak about his forthcoming film, This Good Earth, which explores links between food security and the climate crisis. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 12. Seeding our Future had a stall at the Bridport Christmas Cheer-Up Market on Saturday, distributing leaflets, giving out samples of healthy local food, and sharing ideas on how to raise local food security.
