WINCHENDON Do you have any underutilized items taking up space in your home? Kayla Charlonne at the Beals Memorial Library invites you to consider donating items in good working condition to become part of its new Library of Things collection.
A Library of Things is a collection of tools, tech and educational equipment that patrons can borrow using their library card. They often include items that people need only on an occasional basis or things that people may need but can’t buy themselves. By curating a collection of those types of objects, the Winchendon library hopes to provide the community with access to useful items that can be borrowed instead of purchased.
