As the Islamic Republic of Iran approaches its 13th presidential election, a number of conservative candidates have registered, including Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Generals Saeed Mohammad and Mohsen Rezaei, former Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani, and Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi.
