This morning, oakland firefighters put out an Early Morning fire on foothill boulevard. We showed you this earlier today. It started at an empty house at 3 30 this morning. Crews heard an explosion and had to stay outside the home while fighting the fire. Six people from two neighboring homes had to evacuate as that fire started to spread. I jumped up and as soon as i jumped up i seen the whole flames on the side of my house. All these flames coming out. And then all my windows started popping out and my grandson was coming up the stairs and almost got caught by the blast. We just panicked and ran outside. Crews say they had that fire out in just about 40 minutes. There were no reports of injuries and the cause is still under investigation. Also, this morning, a fire at a home in daily city, that fire started around midnight. At one point, the flames spread to the second floor and the garage in the home. The flames and smoke filled the air there. It is unclear how that fire started or
