companies. we had three other winners. one was a creative company looking at how we could use microfinance models to do micro scholarships. starting in the ninth grade. so we could motivate kids by giving them scholarships at the beginning of their high school career rather than at the end. that s called raise labs. we also awarded a prize to persistence plus, which the winner described as the weight watchers for keeping kids in school. so it was a behavior modification program that gave you nudges to keep you on track and motivated to stay and do your work. and finally, we awarded a project called biblianiseum which is a program for helping kids socialize reading and become better readers and more frequent readers. one of our very special awards was given at the last minute to a group called upscale which is helping match very rural, poor people in india with the skills
