Eastern Cape roads are infamous for being brutal to drivers who are not familiar with safer routes or how to manoeuvre the treacherous roads. Monday last week was a clear example, when a DMJ bus travelling from Cape Town veered off the N2 in the Kei Cuttings and rolled 100m into a ravine. The horrific accident claimed 31 lives, including that of the driver.
