East Japan Railway Co. which serves the Tokyo metropolitan area and West Japan Railway Co. operating in the western region will cut the number of trains during morning rush hours next year after the coronavirus pandemic led to a fall in passengers.

KADOMA, Osaka Prefecture A museum showcasing the history of Kaiyodo Co., a leading figurine manufacturer founded in 1964, recently opened in Kadoma with about 10,000 items on display.
Figurines of characters from anime and movies from the 1980s feature heavily in the collection amassed by the company renowned for its elaborate designs, attention to detail and unusual motifs. Highlights include life-size models of the heads of a Tyrannosaurus and a Triceratops.
The Kaiyodo Hobby Land Kadoma opened here June 26 and occupies around 2,000 square meters of floor space on the third floor of the Kadoma outlet of the Izumiya supermarket chain in front of Keihan Electric Railway Co. s Kadomashi Station.
