Ironwerx Gym in Barrow saw 222 members come through the door as it reopened on Monday. Owner Keith Devlin was delighted to beat the previous record of 212. He said: “It was an unbelievable day really. It just shows that people have got confidence in the gym, myself and the booking system I have put in place. “12 new members walked in on Monday and they told me that they liked what I was doing to keep them safe because people are still quite nervous about coronavirus spreading.”

I remember only snippets of my college math classes, back in the days when we worried more about nuclear winter than global warming.
