The Government Shutdown showdown is now over. Just within the last halfhour the house approved a compromised budget bill. It was approve bide the Senate Earlier this morning. That house action ended the shout down that started at midnight. Members narrowly passed a bipartisan budget. Of course, they voted on the bill long past midnight

Breaking right now Philadelphia Police are looking for whoever shot on broad street. Police home cameras can help catch the shooter. Reporter there were cameras in that area by the only Transportation Center where this happened early this morning. And the buses had to maneuver around that area for a little while because of that road closure in that spot right by broad street. All that area was blocked for a few hours before clearing up. Police say the victim of the shooting might not survive. He was 19 years old and shot several times in his back, torso and chest. This happened a little after 9 30. And officers patrolling in that area heard that gunfire where it happened. The victim was able to run half a mile to his car, and that person drove him toi einstein medical center. Were waiting for an update momentarily. But the person who shot him or the motive behind the shooting, that is still a mystery at this point. Falling into the afternoon. Our First Alert Team of meteorologists is tracking the snow. Lets start with glenn hurricane schwartz. This is the type of snow that some people enjoy the most because theres not a lot of wind with it and it melts as it hits, thats for the most part. This is a live picture in reading. We do have some fresh snow on the surfaces from the memorial penn fire tower and this is our normal picture obviously obscured because of the snow, butd fact th but the fact we can see across the river suggests its not nearly as heavy as it can get sometimes. Youll see a little bit lighter snow already taking place north and west of our area. That drier air will be coming down as we go through the afternoon, and the darker blues indicate where the heavier snow bands are. So as we were talking yesterday, they tend to line up in north south bands, but as long as the band shifts, nobody really gets nailed with some tremendously heavy snow.
