The families are plantiffs in one of the two lawsuits that have been brought against the Florida law.

Families and LGBTQ+ campaign groups have filed a federal lawsuit to block the controversial 'Don't Say Gay' law.

"Kids have their parents to protect them because they're not able to do so until they reach maturity, and I think often will misunderstand whether the parents are supportive or not," one attorney for parents said.
