road rage incident. you can also see this is causing quite the traffic tie- up at the moment. mlk and forbes road shut down. and is expected to stay closed for several hours to come. here s what we know so far hillsborough county sheriff s office responding to shots fired at this location. deputies here finding a man in the road performing cpr on the victim. that man turns out was the alleged shooter and he stayed on scene trying to revive the victim pronounced dead. law enforcement not releasing any identities at this time, only saying that the victim is approximately 40 years old, right now no immediate information as to what is leading investigators specifically as to what sparked this deadly confrontation. just behind me at the scene the state attorney is also on scene working with hillsborough county investigators, no word at this point on any potential charges against the shooter. roads are blocked and a good portion of the intersection remains closed. janelle is in s
there is much we do not know about yesterday s deadly train derailment but we know this. it was traveling at an extraordinary rated of speed, almost three times the limit as it approached a dangerous term. several cars jumped the track leaving the scene of devastation. four passengers were killed. scores injured. investigate orders are trying to figure out what went wrong and why. jonathan martin has the latest. reporter: the question remains now: was this caused by operator error or some sort of mechanical error on the brakes. we know from the ntsb, speed was a factor. that s something that was reported early on by passengers and witnesses. investigators with the national transportation safety board say they now know the commuter train was going too fast as it approached a curve. the preliminary information let me emphasize this is preliminary information from the event recorders shows that the train was traveling at approximately 82 miles per hour as it went int
