ted cruz here. i'm add mist 7,000 or 8,000 people in evansville, overflow crowd and got treated not only to trump today but a special guest repeat appearance from former indiana coach, champion coach bobby knight. what he said was very interesting. he said to this crowd of republicans, i don't give a damn about the republican party, said bobby knight or about the democratic party, i give a damn about the guy running and i support donald trump. donald trump said he's up to the task. >> and now he's getting creamed in the polls and lost the last five elections saying i'm the only one that can beat donald trump. i have proven it time and time again. i'm killing him. and he said, i won seven times. remember the debate, but i won 21 times. and he looked -- i won seven times. i mean, it's like unbelievable. now he's getting clobbered. >> reporter: i'm sorry, tough to hear here, donald trump talking in both of my ears talking about ted cruz there obviously but said it's going to be a rough ride. they are close in the polls but it's going to be a tough one. >> cruz's big announcement was carly fiorina is his vp even though there's no official ticket. does carly make a difference? >> reporter: i'm hold enough to remember whith mondael, i don't know if it's going to be more successful than that. she doesn't hurt here. there's a likability factor with ted cruz and maybe that helps there. and then of course with california becomes important too and she has run and lives in california. the last time she ran there, she didn't do so hot there either. it's going to be a tough ride in indiana and may be the last stand of ted cruz. i actually have a house here now that i mention it. >> you do? >> i have, on lake michigan up in indiana. >> fantastic. >> can't vote here though. >> love the midwest. thank you. >> california may be one of the last primaries on the schedule june 7th and one of the most important. ted cruz calling it the big enchilada, 172 delegates up to grabs in the republican race. all three candidates set to attend the state's republican convention that's going to happen this weekend ahead of all of that voting. fox business network is live for us in california in san francisco today. >> reporter: i think it's interesting that all three are showing up here, here in the state of california for the convention, even before the voting in indiana takes place. the basic deal is this, donald trump is the front-runner here and he's rallying in indiana before he comes out west to california. if he wins in indiana, his bar won't be as high here. the race will be decided here in california. you have 13 delegates to whoever wins the state. you win california you get 13 delegates and there are 53 congressional districts in the huge state. three delegates per district. you win a district, get all three delegates and add it up, 171. it's a huge state. ted cruz and john kasich, especially cruz have been out here working organized, trying to stop trump in what they think are friendly districts to them. speaking to local officials here, mr. trump has some resources of his own in reserve. >> donald trump, you have the advantage of earned media helping you throughout the state of california and as well as the fact he hasn't spent much of his own money and committed to spending money on the remaining states. he can buy ads in the areas they think he's the weakest. >> reporter: the other advantage that trump has, he is the front-runner and that includes this state. the polls have him up 17 on average in the real clear politics. he'll kick off his own state campaign tonight with a rally in orange county. that will be at the fairgrounds where they can fit more than 8,000 people in the venue. we're told there will be a number of protesters to greet mr. trump as well. that's tonight. then it's up here to the bay area tomorrow for the convention that you talked about. trump and kasich speak tomorrow and then it will be ted cruz along with carly fiorina making an appearance on saturday. enjoy beautiful california. thank you. >> california, indiana, both winner take most contest and crunch time for the candidates. >> i think it's really a waste of time. i think -- it should be over in indiana treats us right. >> today is indiana's day, indiana now has the chance to speak, not only for hoosiers across the state but for people across this country that value midwestern common sense, that value good judgment. >> fox news contributor, i listen to what cruz says, guy, i'm from minnesota and we call it midwestern sensibility, that's kind of what he said there. there's also a big evangelical population in indiana that you would think would go to ted cruz. if the history proves anything, donald trump has won a lot of that vote, that's right. >> if you look at the remainder of this competition on the republican side, you take a big orange highlighter and circle next tuesday. indiana absolutely crucial for ted cruz. if he loses there, his back is broken. i think psych logically it would be a real problem for him because think about it, we've heard this for months from ted cruz, i need a one on one fight with donald trump he's got that deal with john kasich, kasich isn't playing much in that state at you will. if he get the situation he's been craving in and state on paper somewhat favorable to him and loses, donald trump has daylight towards the end zone. >> and kasich was not telling voters not to vote for him in indiana. alliance thing, we'll talk to his campaign architect coming up about that. you and i have had many discussions whether or not endorsements matter and i think the indiana basketball coach of bobby knight makes a huge difference even though he hasn't coached there for years, he's still kind of a god there, isn't he? >> he's very popular in big 10 country and indiana specifically. brought those ncaa championships. he and trump are peas in a pod, aren't afraid to tell it like it is. they have a bit of a temper. bobby knight is famous for throwing chairs and allegedly choking a player. it adds to the atmosphere, people want to show with trump and they come to a rally and bobby knight with his pullover sweater, trademark look. and meanwhile, ted cruz indiana, you're waiting for mike pence to get off the sidelines and he has not. >> let's talk about this now, former house speaker john boehner not holding back at all, saying ted cruz is lucifer in the flesh and says i have democrat friends and republican friends and get along with almost everyone but never worked with a more miserable son of a blank in my life. cruz giving this response after that. >> john boehner in his remarks described donald trump as his texting and golfing buddy. if you want someone that's a texting and golfing buddy and you're happy with john boehner speak of the house and you want a president like john boehner, donald trump is your man. >> i was surprised he said those comments, not because i agree or disagree with them but because he's really not let loose like that. >> lucifer in the flesh. this is on the heels of peter king saying he would poison himself with cyanide if ted cruz got the nomination. this is like hyperbole on steroids. this is on the record. imagine what he might say when the recording devices clicked off. it's sort of astonishing. what's not astonishing, there are a lot of republicans in this town who loathe ted cruz. that has been a fact for years and had a lot of fights over mostly tactics frankly and you can go back and forth on those. what is fascinating is the number of establishment figures being embraced by team trump. supposedly this big anti-establishment force. >> it's fascinating to watch and to talk about it on a daily basis. we enjoy having you on every week. thank you. >> thanks, gretchen. >> time for my take. let's look where the math fits on the gop side after trump's big five wins. he has 987 delegates and cruz 62 and kasich 53. gop presidential candidate needs 1,237. guess what, there are still 583 delegates up for grabs. here are some remaining states and delegate counts, indiana, 57. nebraska, 36. west virginia, 34. oregon, 28. and these are not all of them but we end with california, 172. the prevailing thought process is that trump will do better in states like new jersey and california and cruz will do better in other western states. to me i think there could be a different factor right now. the voters now know, they know it's almost statistically impossible for cruz to get to 1,237. will that reality give the momentum to trump? i believe it could, meaning we won't really see a contested convention. all three gop presidential candidates saying they are in it, no matter what for the long haul. all of them vowing to make it to the republican convention in july. who has a legitimate shot after what i just told you? we'll talk to a top aide to governor kasich who says he's still in. >> senator cruz and governor kasich should really get out of the race. they have no benefit -- and make a honest decision to get out of the race and thousands of people came out today to run the race for retirement. so we asked them... are you completely prepared for retirement? okay, mostly prepared? could you save 1% more of your income? it doesn't sound like much, but saving an additional 1% now, could make a big difference over time. i'm going to be even better about saving. you can do it, it helps in the long run. prudential bring your challenges how to gete big flavorw out of each and every allergies. flonase is the first and only nasal spray approved to relieve both itchy, watery eyes and congestion. no other nasal allergy spray can say that. go ahead, embrace those beautiful moments. flonase changes everything. . welcome back. cruz naming fiorina as his pick for vp. let's talk about how the vp candidate gets picked at the contested convention. they get a roll call vote and then the vp gets a voice vote. if it is contested things are more formal and more than 2300 delegates are bounds it a presidential candidate for one round of voting but that's never the case for the vp. all 2,472 delegates are unbound when it comes to nominating a vp. they can vote for whomever they want and it's not tied to the presidential pick. so even if cruz and fiorina want to run together, one of them could end up on the ticket leaving the other one behind. >> days after they tried to unite to stop donald trump from winning the nomination, possible signs of trouble in their alliance, kasich's team saying they'll focus on elections in oregon and new mexico and cruz can concentrate on indiana. cruz's newly named running mate offering harsh advice to kasich. >> yes, he's racking up delegates so is ted cruz. i think the person you should be ask this question to is john kasich. you didn't get the memo, when you can't win you need to get out. >> for more on this let's bring charlie black for kasich's campaign and trying to round up delegates. great to have you back. how do you respond to carly fiorina, your guy, it's time he needs to get out according to her? >> carly is a great person, congratulations to her for becoming a running mate i i don't have anything bad to say about carly but nobody has 1,237. until someone does, john kasich is in the race, it might be him who gets it. >> mathematically there's no way he can get it. >> sure, there is if we have three or four or five six balance lots at the convention. >> only at a contested convention. so you would advocate for kasich to get out of the race if donald trump gets to the number before july. >> if it looks like he's got it for sure, there's no reason for anyone to stay in. we're not going to get there. there are two phases, one is to stop trump from getting to 1,237. >> that's your opinion on that. did you sign off on the cruz/kasich alliance? >> nobody asked me to sign off on it but the so-called alliance is simply this, governor kasich agreed not to campaign or advertise in indiana and senator cruz agreed not to campaign or advertise in oregon or new mexico. but why did you guy then not tell indiana voters not to vote for him then? wouldn't even -- >> no, that wasn't the deal we would tell people to vote for somebody else. we wouldn't campaign or advertise. the last week before a primary, a lot of people make up their minds. if you're not visible and the other guys are, you're not going to get as many votes, that simple. >> the republican chairperson is on the record saying this, people who were supporting kasich have been coming into the office to pick up trump signs. could that alliance have completely back fired? >> well, i don't know, we'll see when people go to the polls on tuesday, but it's not logical that more people would move from kasich to trump then to cruz. they didn't like trump in the first place if they were for kasich. >> okay, a final question here, you and paul manafort have worked together for years, he's working on the trump campaign. there any reality to the fact that you two are working together so that john kasich would become the vice president for donald trump? >> number one, john kasich does not want to be anyone's vice president. number two, paul manafort and i were friends and business partners a long time ago but not in the last 20 years, i'm not working with him on any kind of schemes about the campaign. i'm working for kasich, for president, he has a good chance to be the nominee but won't be anyone's vice president. >> charlie black, getting real with us today. thank you, sir. >> you just heard from the kasich campaign. next we'll talk to one of the congressmen meeting with the trump team in d.c. today, how his efforts to build support on capitol hill, is that working out? ted cruz shakes up the race for the white house as he hits the campaign trail with carly fiori fiorina. does cruz's pick of carly fiorina for president help him? to weigh in tweet yes or no. this is a live poll. use the #therealstory. so far 72% said nope. 28% said yep. i'm terrible at golf. he is. but i'd like to keep being terrible at car insurance in a whole new light. liberty mutual insurance. donald trump's convention manager building support, trying to among house republicans, 16 congressmen reportedly attending the meeting with paul manafort, up from eight that happened last week. wouldn't you love to be a fly on wall? tom marine no can tell us firsthand what went on. what was the real story today? >> well, it was nothing urge shattering as we discussed where we are now from where we were last week. we still are expanding the goals moving forward, getting more and more congressmen and congress wim on board. >> i understand congressman miller from florida, republican is retiring. he now endorsed trump and also congressman shuster. for the most part, it seems to be a congressman from new york or pennsylvania supporting trump. why is that? i know he's from new york but why else? >> well, donald has always paid attention to new york obviously and pennsylvania. his children went to school there. he went to school there. there's a close relationship there. that's expanding and going to continue to expand after indiana. >> when you go to these meetings with paul manafort which will be weekly now, is the main goal of the meeting congressman to try to recruit more people to endorse donald trump? >> yes. >> it's not really discussing policy? >> no, we discussed policy. no question about that. even though we're in congress, we can multitask. so we do that. >> okay. trying to improve your approval numbers, right? a lot of people upset with members of congress in general. let me ask you this. because of that, and because members of congress may be thinking about how the voters feel at home, why are more not endorsing donald trump? >> i think simply because they are waiting. there's still an election in november. there's always a chance that in someone's mind that i may anger some of my constituents but my position is different than that. my father taught me if you feel it in the heart and gut and brain, you go ahead and do it. i was the first congressman to endorse donald and hadn't endorsed anyone else and did it before the first real super tuesday because i knew it was the right thing to do. >> interesting, i like that advice from your dad. do you think that if trump were to come close to the 1,237 number or reach it, we would see a lot more members of congress endorsing or do you think they'll just split and never endorse him? >> no, you will see the pile on method very shortly because i'm confident -- i'm not shooting from the hip, study that i've done and research, the people with whom i spoke, done a little history research, he's going to have the 1,237 before we get to cleveland and some predict more but i'll settle for the 1,237. >> that magic number that we've come to know and love over the last few months. congressman, thank you. >> very welcome. >> you heard from a congressman supporting mr. trump but how is he doing with the voters? >> the big victory in new york far beyond anybody's expectation. we had -- it was a blowout and last night was a total blowout, five states that everybody -- every one of them was beyond expectation. >> more on politics, donald trump moves closer to the party's nomination but faces another uphill battle, winning over the republican establishment. after sweeping oof five states, the mainstream movers and shakers may not have a choice. blake berman is live in d.c. trump picked up a couple more endorsements. what else do you know? >> more washington support, it does keep on trickling in for donald trump, earlier his campaign announced a few more congressional endorsements, bill shuster of pennsylvania, the head of the house transportation and infrainstruct stur company and jeff miller of florida chairs veterans affairs committee and chris collins one of the first to throw his support behind the front-runner says more of those endorsements are coming. >> you're going to hear the word endorse and strongly support as our nominee the key issue is support. >> d.c. endorsements are nice and all, for trump. the most important one is in the state of legend. the legendary coach bobby knight has been introducing trump and again this afternoon. one would think votes or endorsement, bobby knight in indiana just might have that effect at some point down the line. >> could be. you spoke to the trump campaign tod today. >> i spoke to a top aide who told me they feel really encouraged about the last 48 hours or so which is the tuesday sweep of five states, followed by yesterday's foreign policy speech. the campaign feels that this will start to bring more republicans into the tent on their side and we started to see some of that early this morning with endorsements however there were some republicans who were skeptical of that speech yesterday. former presidential candidate lindsay graham and gilmore among them. >> thanks much, blake. >> turns out working class voters are not the only ones who support trump. wealthy, well educated voters helped carry trump to the the primary. nearly half of the voters who cast ballots for trump have college degrees and more than half make more than 100,000 a year. a fox news contributor and the executive director of the accountability project there in the studio with me today. it's interesting tony, when you looked at what they were saying before it was only uneducated not so wealthy people supporting trump, this working class community, i kept thinking to myself not really. i was talking to a bunch of people who didn't fit that description and who like him. >> sure, you're absolutely right. there's been this misunderstanding of donald trump from his add sers varies on the left and right. part of it was to say, only getting angry people, populists and low income, low education levels. that's not true, a majority of this country shares a dissatisfaction with government. if you think about the five states on tuesday, he won every county. look at pennsylvania, that means he won all of those affluent suburban counties in philly and working class counties in the western part of the state. 59% say they feel betrayed by the republican party and 86% want an outsider. that crosses every demographic. >> this must make the clinton camp or whoever the nominee is nervous because he has that crossover appeal. >> they are concerned about the blue collar vote. sure, it's concerning that he's getting other let's not forget the past couple of races have been lower turnout than the first few. there's fewer candidates and this is a republican primary. the primary voters will go with the presumed nominee, looking more and more like donald trump. for hillary -- bernie sanders locked down the blue collar vote which will determine this election. she'll have to struggle very difficulty -- -- i know what you mean. >> i can't speak. >> struggling a lot with my words. to get that vote over. >> i have to break in. we have a fox news alert. tense standoff in a tv station in baltimore. >> it's our fox station in baltimore and what appears to be developing is a rough situation. we believe what we're told by our local station there was a threat about 2:00 this afternoon, about 35 minutes ago and now they have what the initial reports indicate to be a possible man with what appears to be an explosive vest. now, i want to back this up. about 2:00 this afternoon, and this is according to the reporting of our station wbff, fox 45 for baltimore and surrounding areas there on west 41st street, they were evacuated just after 2:00 this afternoon after a threat was received at the building fire crews according to fox 45 responded and put out a fire which appeared to have been set in the gas tank of a vehicle parked at the station parking lot. then we got a tweet from karen campbell saying there is a suspicious person inside the building. police and fire on scene, streets blocked off. these are live pictures from our station there. it's a little blurry. imagine what they are going through if you guys can take the video and that too. this is the location and video, the latest we have from the scene. on their website, you see there's a front door and there appears to be a man inside there and we just don't know what his intentions are. we want to give you the rest of the information as i have it. according to the station security guard an unidentified suspect threatened to quote, blow up the building/unquote. they evacuating staff and leaving the building and spot this this man in the vestibule of the station attached to the station lobby. he appeared to the employees to be wearing a suit of some kind. police have been investigating for some time now. the local streets are closed off. and we've gotten these pictures in from them and they are live, streaming live on periscope. as far as we know, the report was a very simple one in the beginning, sorry for the computer popping up there but we're working to get a reporter live from the scene. fox 45 in baltimore, evacuated and cops on scene. these are still pictures that we've gotten in -- this particular one from shelly orman and people outside the station on what appears to be a rainy day there. it began as just a completely normal day and then all of a sudden about 2:00 this afternoon, there was this fire, which happened in a vehicle. they said it appeared to be set in the gas tank of a vehicle parked in the station's parking lot there. they spotted this miysterious gy in the lobby and appeared to be wearing this bulky suit and all that they knew was he suddenly claimed to a security guard at the station that he was there to blow up the building. the hope is this is a crazy guy with a beef, and no possibility of blowing it up. sadly i can't report that at this moment. all i can report is that there is this threat and apparently is now or has been a man on scene. quoting from a fox 45 reporter keith daniels in baltimore, fire engines are there. they've had this report of an intruder. the man said he had a bomb inside their building and they've all been evacuated from the station. baltimore, of course has been the scene of a lot of troubles lately. and fox 45 has been reporting on those of course. but we have no way to know whether this is related to anything. all we know is there was this vehicle fire and then a man claiming to the security guard there that he's going to blow the place up and now we've gotten pictures out of there and local station that they've been operate in big cities all over the country. in atlanta, in new york, in san francisco, in boston, in many cities across the country and then the majority of the local fox stations are fox affiliates which means they are locally owned or owned by some group and then they take fox programming at night and bit of a licensing agreement if you will. those are our affiliated stations. the case with baltimore, we don't own that station, they are not direct employees of the bigger fox news corporation but they are certainly affiliated with us, our partners in gathering news across the baltimore area an we're their partners in that we give them news from around the country. they are in a hell of a fix as someone has come into the building. paul tweets i'm okay, the man is still in the building. and then another who works there, kye jackson said the car extinguished and security sweep in place. initially all they knew there's a car on fire in the parking lot. that was about the extent of it. sometimes in these situations we've been involved in what we have covered so much different intruders where this sort of thing begins it. in this case a fire in the parking lot. as you might imagine, a fire in a parking lot of a local business in this case a television station, would create a lot of turmoil and interest and intrigue in the place. people most likely coming and going, probably security getting involved in that. at some point during this process of first witnessing the car on fire then getting the fire department in there to exstingish that blaze, at some point during all of that controlled chaos, somebody ended up in the vestibule of the station there. we have no reason to believe that this person has gotten past what has probably security at the front door, just to get into the waiting room there, not into the studios of the station. no information that this person has tried to get on the air there or anything like that. only that this man who is seen in this picture here, we're working to blow this up for you. the doors there, we're going to -- they are zooming in on them in our control room now and we'll get you a bigger shot of this. when you do that you'll be able to see tlds a man standing at those doors. the man described by the local employees as being someone who is wearing a big bulky suit, not normal in baltimore this time of year and then that man saying to security, according to local reports that he was there to blow up the building. now, aside from the fire in the parking lot and at the car we know of no damage to anything aside from that vehicle. we know of no injuries to anybody there we know of no threats beyond what i told you. one more time. we've gotten quotes just into us from the news director there at fox 45 and the news director said, somebody came into the front of the building and apparently said they had information they wanted to get on air. this is the news director, last name is tomco told reporters, came down at one point not knowing the person was in the lobby near the vestibule area. he talked to me and was wearing what appears to be a full body white panda suit, plus a surgical mask and sunglasses. he had a flash drive, quoting from the news director in baltimore. he had a flash drive and had information he wanted to get on air. compared it to information found in the panama papers and news director writes in this letter, i can't let you in. you're going to have to leave the flash drive here and slide it through the opening. in other words he was in a secure area not -- there's the close-up of this vestibule area which according to this is a secure area, you can't get past there without having a car key or being buzzed in. there was a way to leave this as the news director put it in the opening. he wouldn't do that and made threats before. we know that according to security at fox 45 in baltimore, that he had threatened to blow up the building. whether he had facilities to do such thing is another thing entirely. i can tell you it is in no way unusual for someone with information that he or she deems to be of great public interest to come to a television station and make such requests and make demands, i've certainly been involved with situations before where security had to be involved and sometimes police as well. never has it come to the point in my dealings where they threaten to blow up the building. a man in a panda suit wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses according to the news director, nothing like that. you'll remember the panama papers out recently detailed offshore accounts and what appeared to be no those who witness them and i haven't read through them. they are volume nous to put it mildly, evidence of people trying to cheat on their taxes from many nations around the world, some leaders and people tied to leaders around the world. no real specifics on any americans but the leaking of the panama paper and the distribution there of to journalists all over the world was seen as a big matter of interest for many journalists and trying to find out how it is that people with big money hide it in offshore accounts in panama and other places to try to keep from paying taxes or launder money if you're one of ill intent. this particular man who has come to the station, whatever he has on this flash drive is similar to the panama papers. sometimes in dealing with these people, sometimes they have a point and sometimes they just have been on the wrong website for too long. if you're searching for conspiracy theories they are abundant on websites all over the world. what he has today we don't yet know and whether his claim to have the wherewithal to blow up the building is one people should be paying attention to but whether it has any merit to it is another matter indeed. again, somebody came to the front door of the building and apparently said they had some information they wanted to get on air. according to the news director will at fox 45 in balt moxt. news director goes on to say that they came down at one point, not knowing the person was in the lobby near the vestibule area, according to the news director, this man talked to the news director and wearing what appeared to be a full body white panda suit and surgical mask and sunglasses. that must have been quite a thing to come upon in the lobby of the news station. the news director is the person who is in essence the manager of the editorial and technical department which goes out and gathers the news and edits it together and puts the production of the news on the air every day. that person is the main boss in a newsroom with a bunch of middle managers below him or her. this is a person in charge of the news division, separate from the station itself and person in charge of the news comes down and sees this person in a panda suit with sunglasses and surgical mask and this person wants to talk to the news director and the talk involves this flash drive, there was information he wanted to get on air and compared it to information found in the panama papers. the news director said i can't let you in. you'll have to slide it through the opening. he wouldn't do that according to the news director and at the same time or just before he had made threats there. according to the best information we have, the baltimore police, baltimore city police are on scene at our local station offices on west 44th street -- west 41st street in baltimore, the station is wbff. the police and fire department are there. attempting to assess what it is this man has and who this guy is and what he wants. it was interesting to me that the news director said apparently had he made threats before. from that i don't know if the news director is referring to threats made today, threats made at a previous time or whether we're dealing with someone who needs some mental issues that needs help or just a concerned citizen taken someone a bit too far and quite a step too far because we believe that the fire in the parking lot are related. pam wood is a reporter for the baltimore sun newspaper. and pam is on scene now at fox 45 in baltimore. what have you been able to learn about what's happening? >> we have channel 45, local fox affiliate here in baltimore has been completely evacuated since this man who you described came in and made contact with the security guard here. insisting that they take a look at the thumb drive and he had important information and he was apparently scared according to the security guard who felt it was a threat and called 911 and they evacuated the building. >> does it sound to you from reporting there -- what we're getting in here is indicating to us and we hope this is true, we don't know yet, it sounds as if this is a person with big ideas and wanted something done but maybe someone not being completely truthful about this idea that he could blow up the building. do you have anything on whether they believe this is a hoax or empty threat? >> i can't exactly speculate on the man's motive. >> i wanted to know if the police have indicated to you one way or another? >> we haven't heard from the police yet but talking to news director here, they aren't sure what he had was actually a bomb. it might have been a home made or improvised or faux device. they are not sure though exactly what it is. in an abundance of precaution they called in the police. >> is he still in the vestibule of the building? >> that's our understanding. and police and fire still on the scene here and moved us farther away from the building in the last few minutes so the situation is still unfolding here. >> the latest we've gotten -- pam, you're quoted as saying on your tweet, the security guard thinks it's a hoax but cold police anyway, is that right? >> he wasn't sure exactly what it is. when you're not sure you have an abundance of caution. >> pam wood from the baltimore sun. you absolutely would. if there's a fire in your parking lot at your business and someone gets in the secured vestibule gash . >> wearing some sort of what looks like stuffed costume and demanding things of your business, you take it very seriously. the baltimore police and fire departments are doing just that. the local station is evacuated as we get more information, for now back to gretchen carlson. >> thank you so much. back on the real story now, new details emerging in the death of superstar singer prince. we're learning that the dea now aiding in the death investigation and also news prince may have died without a will. trace gallagher has been looking into all of this. what did you find out. >> the prince investigation is churning up a lot of contradictions, we've been told for years prince was a health nut and gentlemen hoef va's witness who was anti-drug and there are multiple reports saying prince was adducted to painkiller for years. prince had been taking the painkillers back in 2009 when he started to suffer hip problems brought up been years of dancing and jumping and performing in his signature high heels. an emergency landing, prince's bodyguard carried him off the plane unconscious. tmz is and was seen the information night, assuring fans on his property at a concert that he was healthy. and that prince died without a will, which many people find very strange, considering he was extraordinarily controlling and protective of his music rights and the use of his image. famously went as far as to drop his name altogether to in a long-stancing copyright battle with a music company and left no direction for his future. >> the march of dimes, leading nonprofit organization that helps improve the health of mothers and preterm babies. one of the organizations main objectives is have healthy pregnancies, is so important to k-mart. >> i want to get in your three triplets, derek, dalton, and devin, live from houston. i know march of dimes has been part of your lives. you're in doeit's the sense of demotion. they realize the world doesn't revolv e them.. a crushing realization. if your ego is everythinhingg right now, trump's more important than all of them combineds mo and it's killing them. >> meanwhile, the smart but ego satisfiemartd person, whether it's elon musk or vivek ramaswamy ormy me, we dont take it personally that trump may be the most consequential humae itn alive. of course, just edging out ryan seacrest. but it's because these people can think larger who know the selection. selectio and in fact, this nation, th are about more than just theismr which is why they've got their necks out for trump and their middle fingers for and toe media. meanwhile, the egotists have become extras in the film of their lives and those who they considered the extras have taken starring roles. that the electorate. theyhey can't believe that the great unwashed not listening to them. but instead this new leading n. e >> and so they see trump and they ask, why could that be me ? it's one thing narcissistsrcis can't stand being ignoresistd on the world stage, but welcome tonight's guests. well, you don't have to mention it. he's just that forgettable. writert ha comedian joe devito. an expert in may making, cular men agitated. host of outkick the morning outkicmornink the morning on outlook.com. charlie ardo. his sense of humor comes fromfo his gut, his great, big, disgusting gut. host of fox news saturdayilla! night, jimmy fallon. and he's the only reason your grandpa has instagram. board, there are some that are totallys fine and some of them aren't. >> and i have to believe it is this realization that afterde three or four decades in the afmelight, they're finding out that they're not the center of the universe. yeah, well, trump has an amazing ability to soak up all the air in any room. it's incredible. y fu >> i mean, it's pretty funny. we have someone like james carville who looks like nosferatoue bideout and saying, i think biden's past his prime. >> we've got to move on.hi s prim but got to admit, at this point, a vote for joe biden. it's a vote for kamalat fo. o te i don't think he's going to make it to the debates. yeah, but only elections. i mean, i was watching himthings at the normandy thing. i mean, there's 100 year old vets were like, do want to sit and look good? joe? they can't hide it. yeah, they can't. >> it they you know, they tried to get him his fancy. they got his footwear becausewaa that's why he was falling over. yeah, it's falling over. >> his body is saying, let me t die. i want to die heree. k -- >> so yeah, i think i mean, trump, if compare them, joe babbles and you think this is not good to watch but trump comes out. it's not like someone asked a questions out, boatut sharks and electric boats, but he had an answer readd any. >> he had it.. it's already. now, i don't know. er at the thed movie "jaws" and thought, what if they had an extension cord jawt ? wha >> a problem? but i think that's what's so hilarious about trump is that- s you can see and he's he's getting stronger and he's getting more vitaler and and het that energy now. i would like if there were some youngerme young people, mae a fresh faced 68-year-old, right? yes. - woul so but i would like if someone said to me, did you hear the president too his pant yous i could say that probably didn't happen. i just want probablyld proba wi: but it is funny, though. it was i no one really hasreally thought about the choice between electrocutioasn short being eaten by a shark. that's the kind of person the thate to have opp in the white house, as opposed someymebody who creates fantas about their uncle being eaten by cannibals. >> but what do you think about the fact that, like a lot of these people look at trumpo and they go like, i could have done that and they're kind ev mad that they didn't do ioul like, i think about that with mark cuban. i think that mark cuban has a proble mark trum with trump actually being not just a billionaire but also president, and he's still a billionaire. >> yeah, well, you look at markn cuban and he's worn so many different hats. i mean, he went from being jusht a businessman to a sports team owner to to really just being somebody that i thinke a lot of people at one point were able to relate to. now it's a completely different storo relate icompletey. ve included. i used to love mark cuban. until now he just insertedte in so many different political conversations that he has no busines to s in. but that's the thing about trump. he also has worn so many hats and yo wasu he was a businessma. he's been a a real estate investor. i mean he, he is single handedly responsible for building up new york to the point that it, o is today. , >> he was, you know, on the apprentice. he's a reality show star. he's nowon apprentieality former presidentm the united states, hopefully soon to be, you knowerident of,d his second term here. but people just don't like that. they don'tterm her the fact tha say whatever's on his mind, that he does have a bit of an eger ihis mindo, but he has a pt in everything that he's saying. poy people are understanding and people are seeing the way that he's being treated with the sham trial. all ofated wit the convictionscv and people are now starting to relate to him and he's gettinicti tg, i think, a lot vt of votes or at least people getting on board with him that maybr ate have ben at another point in time, the latino votes, the blact k votes, the young votes, the silicon valley crew. and you sew,nde people turning t in droves in deep blue states, not even organizedd rallies. gk i mean, people are just deciding like, you know, what should we do this weekend? should we go drinking, should s we go to the beach? >> should we support trump? and they're choosing to supportmocrat trump, which is awesome to see in the democrats reactions. the bests part of it all, because they're calling them, of course, domestic terrorists and things like that, becauseem they don't know what to do with themselves, and especiallse the rally we just saw in vegas this past weekend, so many people showed up there like theseke people must be hireds on craigslist. it's like no democrats. pe hire the ones that have to hire the influencers to support you, not ins. onservativee to you know, jimi, yo, you have no shame. stop, yo it.d even i can't even, like, push back on an intro because i look like a fat cowboey to. >> yes, i do. i thought i looked cool wheni go i left my office that i just got on set. so the monitor. i look like clint eastwood. yeah. you know, the thing is though, i don't think like, people do have egos. >> i would saying that trump doesn't have any ego would be wrong. yeah, but trump has no sense of embarrassment. so he can, he can, like controln his ego. he can actually take risks . >> yes. it's -- it's this different kind of ego. don'tw whatt isi don't know wh, but it's that they cannot bear that he is doing this. >> and they aren't 1,000% because this is the quality he has that they don't. he is a fighter. you know what n they -i mean? and he's not demoralized by someone else's success. don't forgethumois his whole eny into politics really started in 2012 when obama was dunking him at the white house correspondents dinner and he took all the shots and go white housendents dt offn the thing that burns howard stern's. because rememberde about howard? howard oc wanted to be >> politics. he ran for governor of new york. that's right. i forgot he wa s last likestic 30 seconds. okay, but stick with me. he was a guy whosek wihe was brd himself the king of all media, but become so much less omnipotent than trump. >> and he complains about everything omnip. not >> howard stern is now the prince harry of all media. that's kind of whaprincet he li nope, but -- but but imaginegine that does kill him then.this >> this is the bigger thingat'sn and this is what's new to the trump movement. uc is trump is garnering majorp is support in the black community and he went to the bronx. the only time you get to hear biden say hello, bronxrmanentllf he's doing a rally in staten island. >> okay. but -- but that black street crowd thing matters like 50 cent matters. he is a guy with a lota guot of influence. okay? he got of shot nine times and dead. >> did something more dangerous like with chelsea handler. >> okay. but he had his shots. yeah, but that stuff matters. >> the only time howard orppor kimmel have had black support is when they painted it on to their face. >> that's true painted i not go. >> very good. all right, kat, why do celebrities in general struggle with trump's popularity? do you?g >> popularity is like a finite pie. >>no one else said it. so g i guess i have to say it is funny. >> see, you call out other p people for having a big ego. oh, i am right. thank you. that's such an easy joke. >> i know you're going to do that. well, you give you pictures yourself to other people for christmas. >> that is a joklf to othee abo >> uh huh.my oh, i, i honestly so i think. that it's not really a celebrity. i think it's why i write about this in my in my new book a little bit. i thin k limit k it's your new book called i used to like you tell. oh, i think it's all that way. >> oh, pick a lane. get le pick a lane and. it can be really hard for people to get out of that lane or even consider anything from anywhere else because they see the other side sides, not just people that they disagree with. you bad people, so they don't want to listen to anybody else or any other opinions. but i think the thing about stuff that's unprecedentei thg d is like what happened here in new york with the conviction unprecedented leads to more unprecedented. so i think when stuff like that happens, people do pay attention more. but precedink whenngcause pei pe a lot of money, i think, off of saying things trump is thisk. trump is that people have a fan base that expects them to sayn y those things. i think that that can also lead to peopl gettio peope not wantig to consider something else than what they found is make them greg: i successful. >> i do think some of them drive their careers into the ground outfve - of anger. you know, that's also that that's also definitely true
