Shawn McCourt, 53, was sentenced to up to 22 years in prison via a global disposition – a type of plea agreement that encompasses multiple cases – by District Judge Glenn Ellington. Though his sentence appears to be long, the agreement allows him to serve only five years unless he violates parole after his release. In addition to his prison sentence, McCourt is also banned from ever going on a dating website again.
