Meet Kelsey Casey, Plymouth s new library director
Wicked Local
PLYMOUTH – The new director of the Plymouth Public Library blends an old-fashioned love of books and reading with a keen understanding and appreciation of new-fangled services and technology.
Kelsey Casey loved reading so much as a child growing up in New Jersey that she worked in her elementary school library during recess. It gave her a head start on picking out the four or five books she often read a night.
Years later, as director of a small public library in Southeastern Connecticut, Casey helped develop the library into a community resource and upgraded its online collection just in time for the pandemic rush.
