In total, theres almost 75,000 healthcare workers set to strike nationwide in this threeday strike could start as soon as october 4th, which is this coming wednesday. A pedestrian is dead after being hit by 2 vehicles in oakland last night. Police now confirming to us one of the cars involved was stolen. This happened near international boulevard and 54th avenue around 9. 30, investigators say the pedestrian was hit while while crossing the street. The impact pushed them further into the roadway where they were hit by a second vehicle. The people inside the first car involved abandoned it and ran off. The driver was later found and taken into custody. No turn on red signs could be going up all across San Francisco. The citys board of supervisors are considering a ban to decrease pedestrian deaths.
