A Dublin woman faces a criminal charge after authorities allege she sold illicit fentanyl pills believed to be the cause of a fatal overdose last summer the same investigation that resulted in an indictment against an Alamo teen.
University of Hawaiʻi Maui College professor, Rosemary Vierra, was among 15 faculty members from across the state who were awarded the Regentsʻ Medal for Excellence in Teaching. Vierra is also dental hygiene program coordinator and has taught in the program since 2008.
