One man has died after being shot in a Richmond park late Thursday evening.
According to Richmond RCMP, nearby residents called police around 8:30 p.m. Thursday after hearing what sounded like gunshots in a park near Moncton Street and No. 1 Road.

Police arrived at the scene to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to hospital but has since died.
Const. Kenneth Lau with the Richmond RCMP said the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team would be called to investigate alongside Richmond’s serious crime unit and general investigators.
