Masonic lodges from across Minnesota have been donating portable suppression devices that deputies and police officers can use when a fire breaks out and they are first on the scene.
Thanks to the generosity of the Perham Masonic Lodge and those who donated funds at the benefit, the Perham Masonic Lodge was able to provide three FSTs to area law enforcement.
The funds raised will go to purchase fire suppression units for Wadena, New York Mills, Perham law enforcement, first responders, and fire departments.
“We picked up on this and saw the technology and saw the possibility of what this can do. So we decided to move it over here in Minnesota and raise money for our law enforcement and get these equipped in their vehicles.” said Kenny Friese of the Perham Masonic Lodge.
