It happened just after 10 00 when a car crashed into a wall on westbound highway 80 at the fifth street offramp. Three people were in the car. One was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. The extent. The injuries of the other two are not no one. Offramp was closed for about an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. No word yet on what caused the crash. A San Francisco Police Officer was injured after crashing into another car. It happened just after 3 30 yesterday afternoon at california street and 12th avenue. A witness steals abc7 news the officer appeared to be on a cell phone and ran a red light. Investigators are confirmed the officer broadsided another vehicle, but will only say the details are still under investigation. The other driver was not hurt. The officer was transported to the hospital, but he was not seriously injured.
