The city commission met Monday to receive a health update, consider awarding a bid for a project at Kenwood Cove and discuss offering general obligation bonds for future projects.

Regarding vaccines, he said about 11,000 people who live and work in Saline County will be vaccinated by the end of the week. Tiller expects the rate of vaccinations to rise rapidly in the next few weeks as more are made available.
He added that Gov. Laura Kelly announced minutes earlier that Kansas would move to Phases 3 and 4 of the vaccination process starting March 22.
