The U.S. will contribute $300 million to this effort, alongside pressing creditor nations to ease debt burdens on developing countries.
The Kenyan delegation, which arrived on a Sunrise Airways flight from Miami, Florida, is in Haiti ahead of the deployment of the first troops of the Multinational Security Support mission, scheduled for the end of May.
