The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers for their involvement in various cases of armed robbery in the Ashanti region.
The suspects include; Mustapha Adams, 37, Ibrahim Adamu, 37, Seidu Bona, alias Lion, 33 and Muhammed Abubakar, 33.
ASP Godwin Ahianyo, the Ashanti Regional Head of Public Relations at a press briefing explained that on Thursday March 25, 2021 one Emmanuel Owusu Antwi, 40, now deceased and an Engineer with Joshop Construction, was robbed of his Toyota Prado vehicle, with registration number GN 4131-20 and was shot in the process by three armed men.
According to him, the victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment, but died whilst on admission.

The suspects are Mustapha Adams 37 yrs, Ibrahim Adamu 39 yrs, Aseidu Bonah alias ‘Lion’ and Mohammed Abubakar 33 yrs. The suspects are all in police custody assisting with investigations.
It would be recalled that on Thursday 25th March 2021 one Emmanuel Owusu Antwi, 40 years, now deceased, and an Engineer with Joshop Construction was robbed of his Toyota Prado vehicle with registration numberGN4131 – 20 and was shot in the process by three (3) armed men.
