TP Chandrasekharan, a former member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] who founded the Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP), a breakaway of CPI(M) was murdered in 2012.
During the last hearing, the High Court suggested KIIFB officials and Issac who were summoned by the ED to appear before it on courts watch. Today, even though KIIFB agreed to appear, Issac refused.
"In an original petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner cannot challenge an order passed by the court below, without producing an authenticated copy of the same," the Court said.
"You have made a drastic statement against me all because I chose to stand with an old lady," the judge said to the State lawyer after he objected to an observation by the bench.
The Kerala High Court emphasized the need for expeditious investigations in medical negligence cases, highlighting that both doctors who may be accused of negligence and victims desire swift resolutions.
