The State government on Monday informed the Kerala High Court that it would be dropping charges against former President of the Kerala High Court Advocates' Association (KHCAA) in the judges' bribery case.
"Once the seizure mahazar is prepared and sent to the court, it is a public document. There is no bar in issuing a certified copy of the seizure mahazar to an accused," the Kerala High Court said.
The Kerala High Court added that even though the violators do not require any leniency, a seven-day window may be granted so that such illegally installed boards may be removed to avoid a penalty of ₹5,000 per board.
The Kerala High Court on Thursday remarked that women are not slaves of their mothers and mother-in-law, while orally criticising a family court order in a divorce case for its 'patriarchal' observations.
According to a notice issued by the Kerala High Court, the decision to implement these security measures was taken in light of some recent instances of security breaches.
