A policeman from West Mercia Police has been given a final written warning A WEST Mercia Police officer has been issued with a final written warning for gross misconduct after an improper relationship. The male officer, who has not been named, was given the final warning after a misconduct hearing in Worcester on Wednesday, December 2. A panel overseeing the hearing, including an independent legally-qualified chair, reviewed the allegations to assess whether the officer had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in 2018. The panel decided the officer had breached professional standards by entering into an improper relationship with a person that he met in the course of his duties while at work.
