he was cently featured in the new york times about the program. in san francisco where he teaches and christie, this is really a major search effort. yeah that s right. you know friends and family of ed cavanaugh are worried sick. i spoke with some of his friends from the bay area and they have hit the road. they are on the ground physically taking part in the search looking for him in the area where he was last seen. in the rock creek area, sort of southeast of georgetown. last seen on july 17th. he had earlier in the day been riding a yamaha yz 250. we re told many fellow riders are helping in the search. dozen of volunteers also involved. we re told he was last seen ride ing around on friday with a friend. they parted ways to go where each was staying. we got our guy. went his own way. was going to ride back to our place, the house we have here that we use for a clubhouse and he never made it back. now, we re searching for him. again, friends say he is a dedicated
