Key Chevrolet in Yorkton took part in an initiative with General Motors Canada to deliver face masks in the community.
GM Canada began producing face masks for the Public Health Agency of Canada May 26th of last year and by April 8 of this year, fulfilled its commitment of producing 10-million masks.
“The team at Oshawa Operations produced about a million masks every month since then for protection of frontline workers and other Canadians during this whole pandemic,” explained General Manager of Key Chevrolet Neil Holland. “Once they reached their mark, they distributed a thousand to each of the dealers that we were allowed to give to charities.”
