Police have identified a suspect vehicle linked to the targeted killing of Ripudaman Singh Malik, a man who was acquitted in the Air India bombings and shot dead on Thursday.

The man acquitted in the 1985 Air India bombing case has been identified as the victim shot and killed in the Surrey Thursday.

Malik was one of two men acquitted in 2005 of mass murder and conspiracy charges related to a pair of bombings that killed 331 people, mostly from the Toronto and Vancouver areas.
