Nawab Wassan’s vehicle kills motorcyclist

SUKKUR: Special Assistant to the CM Sindh on Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Housing Cell, Nawab Khan Wassan’s vehicle with registration number BN-1234, hit a motorcycle that resulted in the death of the motorcyclist, while two women were critically injured.
The police sources said Nawab Wassan, along with escort, was in the vehicle that allegedly hit and killed the motorcyclist at Mahamood Shah bus stop on National Highway, Khairpur. He was travelling from Kotdiji. The deceased was identified as Naseer Ahmed Ansari, while two women, identified as Imamzadi, w/o Ghulam Qadir, and Sanam, w/o Latif Dino Ansari, were injured. The police shifted the body and injured to the Civil Hospital, Khairpur, for medico-legal formalities.

SUKKUR: Adviser to the CM Sindh, Nawab Khan Wassan, on Thursday visited the family of a murdered girl, conveying the messages of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh CM, Syed Murad Ali Shah, telling the parents of deceased girl that both the leaders had taken notice of the rape and murder case and had directed the IGP to immediately arrest the murderers.
Nawab Khan Wassan, on the occasion, presented Rs50,000 cash to the father of the deceased and told him that from tomorrow construction work for their house would be started. He also informed that soon a job would be given to Monika’s father and he also warned the police to arrest the murderers within two days.
ASI Wassan’s ‘murderers’ sent on judicial remand

SUKKUR: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday sent the alleged murderers of ASI Bilal Wassan on judicial remand after the 14-day extended physical remand in Khairpur.
The police had requested the judge to provide 14 more days physical remand of the accused Sarfaraz Rajput, his father Zahid Hussain Rajput and Syed Saqlain Shah to investigate the whereabouts of three unidentified co-accused nominated in the FIR. The defence counsels argued that the police had been torturing their clients to implicate three specific persons, whose names were given by the police. They also requested the judge to send the alleged murderers to jail because they apprehended their murder. The ATC had sent the accused to Central Jail, Khairpur, on judicial remand.
