Cheetah Oban, one of the cheetahs brought from Namibia, entered Jhar Baroda village of Vijaypur which is 20 kms away from Kuno National Park on Sunday.
Oban, a male cheetah from Namibia has been photographed roaming the open forest in Kuno National Park, 70 years after the big cat became extinct in India.
After their arrival from South Africa, the 12 cheetahs were served food and water. In the last 46 hours, a team of doctors went to the quarantine enclosures six times for health checkups of the cheetahs, in which they were found to be physically and mentally fit.
The ground report from the Kuno National Park where eight cheetahs were released from Namibia revealed that the big cats are under the supervision of five veterinarians, including three experts from Namibia.
