Charities across Adelaide forced to find extra cash to dispose of post-Christmas rubbish
Charities across Adelaide are being forced to find extra cash to dispose of tonnes of post-Christmas rubbish dumped outside their stores.
Piles of unwanted goods, including Christmas trees, decorations, mattresses and furniture have been dumped at Salvation Army charity stores in Kings Park, Kidman Park, Melrose Park and the city. It s not good like that, I just picked up trash now, it s not good, one local told 9News. Absolutely it s an eyesore and sort of disheartening part of the whole season, another local told 9News.
It s not just left locals outraged, local business operators are also up in arms.
