Dayvilles Owen Bell Park expected to get a new splash pad, pavilion and deepened pond as part of upcoming work.

Joyce Ricci, longtime local educator and Town Councilor whose passion for Killingly inspired others to join public service, died July 21 at age 81.

Fireworks displays are organized across Connecticut deep into July this year. There are even shows planned into August and September.

Killingly recreation director Tracy Mason is leaving the department after more than 20 years.
