that District 3 Commissioner Alicia Edwards said may lead to an “unnamed, but likely to be a Starbucks” coffee shop or fast-food restaurant being built in the parking lot of the county-owned Grant County Veterans Memorial Business and Conference Center.
Commissioners set the stage for the sale of county property located at 3031 U.S. 180 E. — a piece of the parking lot on the northwest corner of the intersection of U.S. 180 and the 32nd Street Bypass — to KWTHEM, LLC, a company that specializes in brokering property deals for fast-food chains like Taco Bell and the internationally ubiquitous coffee chain Starbucks.
