The trust running two North Staffordshire schools today defended plans to link up with an academy embroiled in strike action and a school in need of £5 million of repairs.
The King’s CE Academy and St Thomas’ CE Primary, in Kidsgrove, recently joined the newly formed Three Spires Trust, set up by the Lichfield Diocese.

Pupils began returning to schools across North Staffordshire today as the ‘largest mass testing scheme this country has ever seen’ got underway.
