The Princess of Wales had abdominal surgery in January and has not been seen in public since December.

Prince William returned to his royal duties with a visit to a synagogue in London two days after he mysteriously skipped his godfather's memorial service.

A rep for Kate Middleton reiterated that the royal will be recovering from surgery in Windsor for the next few weeks, amid speculation on her health.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, underwent a planned abdominal operation in January and Kensington Palace said it would only be providing "significant updates" - but she is expected to return to royal duties after Easter Sunday

The update comes as royal commentators warned the Royal Family to be more open about why Prince William was absent from his godfathers memorial, which was attributed to a personal reason.
