For the first time in roughly two years, coaches from across the state gathered for softball sectional tournament draws on Sunday, May 2.
In the Southwest District, the Cincinnati Division I meeting was a hybrid meeting. The in-person aspect was held at Fairfield High School.
Milford drew the No 2. seed in the sectional behind only Lakota West. The Lady Eagles (19-3) took a first-round bye and will host either No. 21 Wilmington (5-11) or No. 26 Sycamore (2-12) on Wednesday, May 12.
A win would send Milford to the district semifinal, scheduled to be played at Fairfield High School on Monday, May 17.
