Growing out of the Breaking the Binary festival, the nonprofit began one of its initiatives in December with Tony nominee L Morgan Lee, & Juliet 's Justin David Sullivan, and more.

L Morgan Lee directs the Off-Broadway festival's finale event, An Evening of Commissioned Monologues , featuring works by Trans, Non-Binary, and Two-Spirit artists.

"There is a growing interest in narratives that include or center Trans, Nonbinary, and gender expansive people."

The festival will run October 10-16 at Theatre Row.

On April 10, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus will present Voices Rising, a concert that will include the world premiere 'Songs of the Phoenix,' featuring ten songs by thirteen composers and lyricists.
