Former Kibwezi MP Richard Kalembe Ndile died at Nairobi Hospital on Sunday morning at around 5:30am after a long illness.
According to the deceased’s younger brother, Sam Ndile, the former vocal legislator was taken ill on Wednesday night from his Mlolongo home complaining of stomach pains.
The brother confirmed that Ndile was in and out of various hospitals for some time before his demise.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana [David Njaaga,Standard]
Makueni Ward Representatives have threatened to impeach Finance Executive over delayed salaries and allowances.
The MCAs are accusing Governor Kivutha Kibwana of a plot to punish 120 assembly staff for political differences.
But Kibwana says the MCAs dug their own grave, and won’t pay huge allowances for unverifiable trips that the assembly members are demanding.
The staff have not been paid their allowances since January. They also complain of missing salaries amounting to Sh70 million for March and April.
The assembly has 48 MCAs while the rest are employees in different departments.

However, he rebuked the incident in which an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) official was slapped by former Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa. Kalonzo called for stern action to be taken.
