UBS Nabs $2B Tampa Team from Bernstein A five-advisor team in Tampa, Fla. has jumped ship from Bernstein for UBS s Private Wealth Management division.
UBS Private Wealth Management has recruited a six-person team that managed approximately $2 billion in client assets for Bernstein Private Wealth Management in Tampa, Fla.
Five advisors are joining UBS, including Jay Degeare, Matthew Gordon, Chase Williams, Joseph Jin and David Ochotorena. Brooke Banning, team associate, also joined, according to the company announcement.
Gregory Kadet, greater Florida market head at UBS Wealth Management USA, said the team works “strategically with the most affluent individuals, families and businesses in the Southeast and internationally.”
