Effingham, IL / Effingham Radio Apr 3, 2021 1:34 AM Effingham traveled to Mattoon on Friday night and returned home with the 28-0 shutout victory over the Mattoon Green Wave. Mattoon got the ball on the opening kick and had a clock eating drive only to come up short. Because of penalty negating a first down run, the Green Wave would have to punt it away.
