The Florida Institute for Angiography, of Sarasota, better known as fiaHeart, held a grand reopening Feb. 25 to celebrate the unveiling of its newly renovated Cath Lab.
The Philips Azurion Cath Lab, 2540 Tamiami Trail, offers both patients and physicians the latest state-of-the-art technology and is the first of its kind in Sarasota County.
The ClarityIQ Technology reduces radiation by more than 70 percent, which provides peace of mind to those physicians who are subjected to long-term radiation exposure. Tours were given of the new lab and there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
Procedures are already being performed in the renovated Cath Lab.
