Phoebe Bridgers has placed her smashed Danelectro guitar up for auction. The songwriter appeared on Saturday Night Live earlier this year, and at the climax of her set smashed up her guitar. The move involved a pleasing thump on a fake monitor, with guitar brand Danelectro having seemingly given Phoebe Bridgers their permission. Somewhat strangely, the performance seemed to spark a culture war discourse, with a number of high profile - overwhelmingly male - figures lining up to criticise her be...

SNL throughout its 46 seasons. Halsey We all know Halsey as an artist extraordinaire who can sing, paint and even craft a beautiful and inclusive makeup line. On her SNL appearance in 2019, she combined her music and fine arts skills to draw a self-portrait onstage as she sang her hit single “Eastside.” Frankly, it takes many people a few hours to make a few inches of a painting. Call her the modern-day Bob Ross after this cool aerial-view performance. Along with being a musical guest, Ha...

Every month, HipHopDX puts a spotlight on the tracks that stand out from the ove...

An award-winning comic actor with range, Levy seems like he’d be right at home taking the stage in 8H. And he was, really, with only the writing of tonight’s episode letting him down. His monologue pulled out the old studio tour bit with a COVID twist, something that the show did precisely nothing with other than have Aidy Bryant come out brandishing a social distancing pool noodle to...
