Climate change is heating the Arctic faster than anywhere else on the planet. Communities around the polar region are already suffering, and conditions there are fueling extreme weather events much farther away.

Eleven University of Alaska Fairbanks scientists contributed as authors to the 18th Arctic Report Card released Dec. 12, 2023. The report card, produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, documents how warming air, ocean and land affect people and ecosystems.

Our UK & Ireland Manager is responsible for the oversight of the regional branches; building an annual pipeline of activities that address the most topical themes within infrastructure and energy. The role will work closely with local stakeholders to deliver a strategy that aims to grow the membership, improve engagement with members, align our activities with industry and provide a platform for the next generation of industry leaders to develop their careers.
