The Tesla Model Y, Model 3, Model X and Model S took the top four spots in the Cars.com American-Made Index that ranks vehicles on their impact on the U.S. economy.

What percentage of your vehicles value contributes to the U.S. economy? This index evaluates and ranks over 500 car models based on their country of origin of parts, labor, R&D and other factors.

These vehicles have a greater share of parts made in America than any others, according to a recent study.

Kentucky claims two of the top three

The Lincoln Corsair had the highest score on the Kogod Made in America Auto Index for 2022. The Kentucky-built SUV finishing ahead of the Tesla Model 3 and Chevrolet Corvette.

Tesla models took the No. 1 and No. 2 posts on the Cars.com list of most American-made vehicles.

The Ford Mustang GT with six-speed manual transmission tops Kogod's 2021 Made in America Auto Index with the most domestic content.
