ITBP recovers improvised explosive device in Chhattisgarh s Kondagaon ANI | Updated: Mar 07, 2021 14:03 IST
Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh) [India], March 7 (ANI): The 41st Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Sunday morning recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) inside a tiffin box in Chhattisgarh s Kondagaon district.
According to the ITBP, the IED was recovered between Mundipadar and Matwaal villages and was placed to target forces.
In a separate incident on Friday, a Head constable of the 22nd battalion of Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) was killed in a pressure improvised IED blast on Thursday in Dantewada s Pahurnar area.
The IED was planted allegedly by Naxals in the area. (ANI)
Girls from Naxal affected Kondagaon among six selected for Chhattisgarh archery team ANI | Updated: Feb 02, 2021 13:39 IST
Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh) [India], February 2 (ANI): As many as six children including four girls from the Naxal affected Kondagaon district, who are being training by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), have been selected for the Chhattisgarh archery team.
According to ITBP, they will represent the state in a competition to be held in Dehradun from February 7 to February 15.
The ITBP is giving training to kids in the Red zone since 2016. (ANI)

Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh) [India], January 27 (ANI): Protesting farmers in Delhi are demanding procurement of crops on minimum support price (MSP) like in Chattisgarh, said Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday. Farmers in Delhi are also talking about the Chhattisgarh model. They are demanding that their crops should be procured in on MSP, but the government of India is not ready to do that. They are asking to repeal three farm laws and procure the crops on MSP, the way it is happening in Chhattisgarh, Baghel told media.

Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh) [India], December 11 (ANI): The Indo-Tibetan Border Police, (ITBP) has been imparting training to local Archers in Naxal-affected Kondagaon District of Chhattisgarh.
Kumari Ramita Sori, an Archer from Kondagaon District said I have been practicing and competing in Archery for the last three years. 41st Battalion ITBP team is giving coaching of Archery to us. As of now, I have won 3 gold and 7 silver medals in State and won 2 silver and a bronze medal in the year 2018 in Nationals. I want to further excel in Archery.
