Koo is currently available in 11 languages and it is expected that the platform will witness a significant growth.

Koo is available in 10 languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali and English.

Koo has declared that the platform has reached more than 7,500 high-profile people, millions of students, teachers, leaders, poets, actors, writers, entrepreneurs, artists, etc. who are actively posting on the platform in their native languages.

Koo boasts of being a multi-lingual microblogging platform and has reported a spike in users. The app also reported an increase in time spent, and engagement since January this year. 

Users who are keen to authenticate their identity, can self-verify their profile using their Government-approved ID card in 30 seconds. Currently, Koo is accepting Aadhar card for self-verification.

Homegrown microblogging platform Koo's user base has touched about 15 million now, with five million users added in the last quarter

The development comes a day after the Nigerian government announced an indefinite suspension of Koo's rival, Twitter in the country. In a post on Koo on Saturday, its co-founder and CEO Aprameya Radhakrishna said the platform is available in Nigeria.
