Korean star Sandara Park, or Dara, donated one ton of pet food for rescued animals under the care of the Korean Animal Welfare Association, the largest non-profit organization for animals in South Korea.
“I went to the Korean Animal Welfare Association in Namyangju with Dr. Dog. I donated feed and met dogs and cats which were rescued from difficult situations and are growing well and healthy,” Dara, former member of K-pop group 2NE1, posted on Twitter along with photos of her visit.
Dara, together with people from Dr. Dog, a Korean pet food company, went on Jan. 6 to the association’s Companion Animal Welfare Center located in Namyangju, Gyeonggi province in South Korea.
Sandara Park showed her love for animals by making a donation to help abandoned pets.
On January 7, she posted a photo of herself at the Korean Animal Welfare Association in Namyangju, a city in Gyeonggi Province. In the caption, she wrote:
Together with DrDOG, I visited the Korean Animal Welfare Association in Namyangju. I donated some feed and visited the dogs and cats who are growing up well after being rescued from difficult circumstances. They were so cute. A lot of these babies are waiting for families! To those looking to make a pet part of their family, please think carefully before you adopt. A lot of my acquaintances contacted me asking if they could go with me next time, and I realized that there are still a lot of warmhearted people in the world. It was a heartwarming day. Let’s love each other and stay healthy and happy.
