Mako Gold Ltd (ASX:MKG) has completed a soil geochemical program on the Ouangolodougou and Korhogo Nord permits, comprising the Korhogo Project and collectively covering 296 square kilometres over a 17-kilometre strike of faulted greenstone granite contact in Côte d’Ivoire.
The soil samples were collected over a grid with 400-metre spaced lines and 100-metre sample spacing.

Mako Gold Ltd (ASX:MKG) has increased its footprint in Côte d’lvoire after a decree from the country’s Ministry of Mines granting the Ouangolodougou Permit, which covers 111 square kilometres of prospective tenure within 15 kilometres of Barrick Gold Corp’s (NYSE:GOLD) (TSE:ABX) (FRA:ABR) 4.9-million-ounce Tongon Gold Mine.
